I've said it before but, if we're talking historical claims to the land of Palestine... Then Turkey, Iraq/Syria, Egypt, Greece, Italy, France, Germany, England, and Malta all have far more recent and more legitimate claims than world jewry does. There were Frenchmen on the throne in Jerusalem 1000 years more than the last Herod to rule.

  Well it was rightfully won from the Turks, under King George V, the monarch of Australia, bought with Aussie blood. I'd say again this is more legitimate than the Israeli claim.

Family and activities The Earl of Loudoun is the son of Michael Abney-Hastings, 14th Earl of Loudoun, whom he succeeded in 2012. He resides in Wangaratta and Melbourne, Victoria.The heir presumptive to the title is the present holder's brother, the Hon. Marcus William Abney-Hastings (born 1981). Abney-Hastings was chosen to carry one of the gold spurs of the royal regalia, emblems of knighthood and chivalry to be presented to King Charles III at his coronation.
