I got the Vanilla ver of "Authentic Vegan Plant Based Protein Powder" I use because chocolate was unavailable
The vanilla flavoring taste much less than chocolate, but it seems to do a better job a engulfing the water than the chocolate one. However it bubbles heavily and that's annoying when mixing
-
@coolboymew are you vegan or fasting or something? every time i've tried some vegetable stuff it was disgusting and i threw it out.
-
@grey Just that it has the least ingredient and other random crap out of the protein powders I've seen. It's pretty much as pure as it can be with just 2g of sugar with the flavoring. That's about it. Also no worrying about eggs and whatnot, as some don't show ingredients in the listing
IMO it tastes pretty good, even it water. Hell, I was scared of it being a pain to drink but I'm looking forward to it even lol
-
@grey and no, I'm using it because I'm working out
-
@grey whey as additional trans fat and cholesterol, the one I have has none of this
-
@coolboymew i wasn't questioning why you're using protein supplements, i was wondering why specifically the vegan stuff, since i've never had positive experiences with it. there are several places around here you can get as close to pure as possible with only whey and the obligatory lecthin emulsifier.

@grey oh really? Hmm
-
@coolboymew cholesterol is a testosterone precursor, you want it
-
@coolboymew this is why raw eggs are so good for bodybuilding, egg yolks have a bunch of it that is quickly destroyed by heat
-
@grey yeah, I'm allergic so I can't

@coolboymew vincegironda.com/vince-girondas-36-eggs-a-day-diet-is-it-truly-as-good-as-steroids/
Some background if that ever changes. A diet high in fat and protein is good for you. Simple carbs are your enemy. Also when it comes to Cholesterol remember it's not bad:
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6024687/
>To date, extensive research did not show evidence to support a role of dietary cholesterol in the development of CVD (Cardiovascular Disease). As a result, the 2015–2020 Dietary Guidelines for Americans removed the recommendations of restricting dietary cholesterol to 300 mg/day.

@grey >36 eggs a day
Jesus, that reminds me of that 4chan screenshot
-
@coolboymew raw, not cooked. they just become a thick shake when put in a blender with some cream and protein powder.
