   @kaia btw i saw you recently posted about compiling ffmpeg with cuda for faster encoding, but afaik cuda is not needed for general hardware accelerated encoding at all, just nvenc, whicn is probably already in.      @lain thanks! the NVENC commands ChatGPT gave me did not work. I presume it's my ignorance and I really don't need CUDA. I'll try again for next kino klub
