2. 4 examples of educational games. On the top left the "Mouse click training", an exercise to learn how to use the mouse (a mouse is displayed with its buttons, several monkeys and fishes are represented on a lawn), on the top right the "Create the fractions", an exercise to learn fractions (a pie chart divided in 6 activatable parts and a fraction where the numerator can be modified), at the bottom left "Discover the International Morse code" where a message written in Morse code is displayed on a sea drawing with a white cloud with an alphanumeric keyboard to enter the text, and at the bottom right "Compare numbers" an exercise where 2 equations are displayed with some "? "which must be replaced by the proposed numbers. GCompris is a libre and multi-platform educational software offering various activities, playful and especially educational for children from 2 to 10 years. In France it is praised by nursery and primary schools for its quality and spectrum covering cycles 1, 2 and 3. It offers more than 130 activities covering areas such as computer discovery, arithmetic, science, geography, reading, drawing and many other creative activities. New activities are regularly added or improved.

The new release includes 182 activities with 8 new ones on how to use a mouse, understand fractions, compare numbers and the concept of 10's complement. https://gcompris.net/news/2023-01-18-en.html GCompris' activities come fully translated into 24 languages, and partially translated to another 12. Translations include text and friendly voices. GCompris is available for free on Windows, Linux, macOS, Android and Raspberry Pi.
