On the other hand, I have read something that made me believe that playing on Master in events on this one do give more points and I pretty much exclusively play on Master. There's still a chance that a significant amount of the playerbase cannot play on Master and that heavily advantages me
@coolboymew I think in SIF1 what made tiering in JP difficult was the insane player counts, it was a LOT harder to tier higher by doing less compared to EN due to the sheer amount of competition... not sure how SIF2 is doing for player counts though?
@nyarlathotep I heard the app is doing not all that good. Most people are pissed at the very slight evolution apparently, and compared to something like Bang Dream, the stories are still eternal fluff apparently
@coolboymew tbh if I could describe SIF2 I would say it's "underwhelming" -- I still really enjoy the rhythm game aspect, but everything about it feels so dated... imo they reused A LOT and didn't update enough to justify yeeting my old account of 4-5 years ~_~
I used to play SIF1 daily years back, but I feel like there's just not enough new or interesting stuff to pull me back and motivate me to choose it over competing games like Proseka for example
@coolboymew Yeah, I'm kinda surprised they just dropped all that stuff?? I didn't play SIFAS much, but all the models looked super nice, it def would've made the game feel fresher if anything
I think Deresute kinda set the standard for newer games having 3D lives years back, so it's super weird to see SIF2 still without it (even if I likely would've turned them off for performance anyway lol)

They really did such a great job of capturing the art style in SIFAS models, it’s crazy how good they look especially when compared to super early 3D in old u’s MVs
