     @monsterislandcolonizer @DrRyanSkelton what I really want is an ultra efficient snapdragon flagship underclocked phone with an epaper screen for max battery life and replacable 2x AA/18650 batteries in a 1/2 inch thick rugged glass fibre reinforced nylon case with screws. 1 month battery life sort of thing like on the kindle. if sonim can make this i'd be happy. i don't care how much it weighs.

     @monsterislandcolonizer @DrRyanSkelton get a 1 or 2 gen old xiaomi with flagship snapdragon chip and at least 8GB ram and 100MP+ camera. parts are easy to find and they are repairable. the only thing they lack is the wireless charging, but that shit is a gimmick anyway. also miui is not as shitty as the other bloatware android OSs.
