     The 5700x is just slightly lower clocked 5800x as far as i know.

     @luithe You can always undervolt either CPU. Its actually improves the performance of these CPU's.

     @luithe @Tamamo If you want to save on wattage and don't have any focus on GPU heavy tasks, a 5700g or 13500 is actually a good idea. Using just an APU without any separate GPU can save ~50% power in typical operation. And they're still nice CPU, really. But it certainly depends on what you want to do.

     @luithe @pinea @Tamamo https://invidious.varishangout.net/watch?v=tv_cbc8UFC4 maybe look into a mini pc perhaps? The next gen APUs are surprisingly robust. 780m is pretty powerful I do believe its equivalent to whats in the asus rog ally and lenovo legion go.

     @luithe @Spooke @Tamamo Going for the APU would save power and not require you to buy an extra GPU. I'd really consider going for that if you have no needs that contradict it.
     
     @Spooke's find is even faster on the GPU the 5700G which I personally think would already be sufficient. Maybe it's a great choice?

     >5700x better performance in games but sacrifice more wattage and money for electricity bill
     >5700g for nearly identical performance at lower electricity bill

     @luithe @Spooke @Tamamo Or the 7840HS machines @Spooke pointed out with their even faster 780m iGPU which equally have a low electricity bill and also no cost for buying a dedicated GPU.

     Personally I only had hands-on on the 5700/5750G and they're good (even with a lot of HDD or whatever), but perhaps the above would be more gaming capable and many people like smaller computer cases better anyhow.

     @pinea @Spooke @Tamamo i guess Apu will be better, plus I think I'll just use my computer for small games and playing csgo/TF2/unturned and other misc tasks that doesn't need a bunch of GPU power

     @luithe @pinea @Spooke I have a laptop with the mobile 5700 and its roughly equal with a GT1030 in terms of graphics performance.
     
     You can always add a GPU later so go for it.
