     It had more to do with the way the focus shifted when Erin was captured. I couldn't tell who this new main character was, if it was Reiner in a flashback or Reiner's little brother, and I found the whole thing to be jarring especially after coming back to the show 2(?) years after hiatus.
     
     So the show is taking forever to release even now and I knew I would need to rewatch it anyways.
