     Some people are just fucking nuts. There is exceedingly little subs on Reddit left that doesn't drink the koolaid hardcore and the remaining ones should fuck off very fast

     @coolboymew @LittleTom Reddit was only really useful for niche discussions on subjects but that place has been awful for years mostly due to the woke garbage and political astroturfing. Doesn't help the upvote / downvote system is used to stiffle any open discussion. Preferrebly why while 4chan is a clusterfuck you can sometimes find better discourse there because there's no voting system weaponized to suppress speech.

     Even too that place has gone downhill over the years but there's a lot more shills and spam nowadays. Feels like nowadays the Fediverse is the only place left to really post and have some fun or meaningful discussion

     It's a major issue with invisible mods that aren't actively visibly part of the community and sites that are too big
     
     In a small forum, you'd usually know the admins and mods. On 4chan, you fucking don't. I believe it also works on a weird janny report and lead mod remove? Is there even any communication? Probably not, so that's why you get hit with some bullshit and nobody else in ongoing convo does

     Probably, I remember last year on /vp/ one of the jannies were actively trying to shit up the board with drama as part of a discord server (no surprise) and warning and banning people pointing it out but after some of us reported it and I stopped browsing for a month then came back, that person was gone and there was a new janny
