   Attorney General Bonta confirms what we've been saying: it is against the law for police to share data from license plate readers with out-of-state or federal agencies.      @eff UC Davis automatically collects license plate data of cars on campus. The state can exempt itself from its own laws (and UC has, on occasion). Did anyone ask
     AG Bonta about that?

     @eff 🤷 So they will now sell it to a private party first, that resells it to the Feds? “The American Way” of getting around the constitution?
