Can I make a wallpaper that I can distribute that supports the light and dark styles on GNOME? Like, just a single file, add it to GNOME Settings, and it will do the right thing?

If not, as a third-party app developer, could I distribute an app that can set light/dark style wallpapers, and will they show up nicely in Settings?

If not, what needs to happen in GNOME Settings to make that a possibility? I *really* want to make some nice wallpapers to easily set. :)
