@schappi Rather harsh but Duolingo-the-app is essentially a clicker game masquerading as a language learning app
It is still better than nothing, but really you should only use it to fill time in situations where the alternative is literal nothing (like when you are in a cramped bus or train and similar situations) - in other situations any other method will serve you better

On the other hand, the content parts of Duolingo (podcasts, stories, etc.) tends to be much, much better than the app

No comment on other apps since I have never used any of them tho :02lurk:
