     @BigTony Yes, the first one in the west released as Retro Game Challenge
     
     You're sent to the 80s by the "Game Master" (Arino) to meet a young Arino, and you have to complete certain challenges in fake retro games ranging from the Famicom, GB, Famicom Disk System and even SNES in the sequel. All the retro games are parodies and mixes of existing games and they're actually really fucking good, and the variety of them is great
     
     You even get fake game magazines with tricks, cheats, preview for the next games and etc

     @coolboymew I've seen a lot of clips of that show. I haven't seen an official English release of the entire series beside some DVD releases. Live Japanese TV releases overseas are bizarre sometimes, but at least I can find it via the Archive:

     Official releases sucks because even in the Japanese official releases the really awesome segments where Arino visits some arcade, game shop, other places are removed
