I'm so fucking glad this piece of shit company is finally exploding
- luithe and :awoo_tired: shotgun snuggler :clownpiece_smug: like this.

>Cranked up monetization to a thousand despite going independent
>Putting trannies in the game, hell, putting trannies in their videos, putting trannies fucking EVERYWHERE to force them in your face
>making the piece of shit character in pic related the star of the current expansion who's VA was gloating about the character making people uncomfortable on Twitter and talking about how players were forced to have "his bulge" on their screens challenging their chuddie beliefs.
>Making "never overdeliver" their company motto
Couldn't have happened to a better company.
What a piece of shit
-
@Jens_Rasmussen he was running the playstation brand since 2018 afaik.
the guy is responsible for the company's extreme focus on big movie games and the aggressive stance on Japanese developers and recently, he's taken an interest on games as a service bs.
the guy did irreparable damage to the industry by forcing all developers to censor their games while first party titles get off scot-free effectively killing anime games outside of gacha shit.
-
@Meemoo Quick rundown on this "Jim Ryan" figure? I don't know anything about Bungie or Destiny or even the inner workings of Sony.
-
@Meemoo them losing a ton of money is pretty much Karma for sucking ESG dick
-
@Meemoo On one hand it is a shame that it happened, but on the other hand I am happy that Nintendo and PC picked up most of what Playstation lost.
-
@Jens_Rasmussen I wish everyone would ditch sony and xbox personally.
their insane ESG-compliant policies have done nothing but harm to video games.
Nintendo is bad, but they are at least more lenient because they don't have a hate boner for anything non-american like the others
-
@ChristiJunior @Meemoo Holy shit, even though I hate Gamefreak and what they did recently….
-
@Meemoo "Never Overdeliver"? Even Game Freak doesn't openly brag about being lazy, greedy and incompetent!
-
@Meemoo Man, and here I though Microsoft was good at ruining companies, but it seems that Sony has them beat!
-
@Meemoo the great AAA studio die off cant happen soon enough
-
Turns out chasing the almighty DEI score for the woke mob didn't work out so well!
-
Fuck (((Larry Fink))), Fuck (((Blackrock))), Fuck (((ESG)))
-
@ChristiJunior @Meemoo Yeah, I saw some video a while back where their (((ceo))) was bragging about how working to make something they enjoy is elitist and racist, and that actually finishing a good product isn't as profitable as making stuff as fast as possible and then patching any issues later on.
Literally, their business model is "our audience are a bunch of addicts who will pay us no matter what".
-
@Elliptica @ChristiJunior @Meemoo
That's what I don't get. I tend to give companies I've liked in the past the benefit of the doubt, but if you do the same shit over and over and consistently underdeliver, that makes me not want to buy your stuff and less willing to trust you. Can grown adults really not adjust their expectations based on new data?
-
@ChristiJunior their hack of a CEO ran a whole slideshow telling companies not to make good products in order to keep player expectations low.
He cites "overdelivery" (read: making a good product) as "problematic" because it sets expectations too high which he sees as "unprofitable". It's disgusting
-
@Meemoo We know that Game Freak operates the same way (as evidenced by how many objectively good features they've removed from Pokemon games over the years), but again, even they aren't so arrogant that they actually say it out loud.
-
@lolipunk3069 troonies in there burned money on pointless shit at such a high rate that even Microsoft recognized it as a red flag and skipped out on acquiring them
-
@Meemoo With that amount of awful mismanagement, it sounds like the troons that took over the company decided to turbo-kike everything up, parasitically embezzling company funds, and engaging in mass lay-offs in order to intentionally destroy the company out of nothing but pure spite for all the long-time Bungie fans, the ones that stuck around for Destiny at least.
At least all the actually good games still exist, and some of 'em are even open source.
-
@ArdainianRight @ChristiJunior @Meemoo They cannot.
-
@Elliptica @ArdainianRight @Meemoo
-
@Jens_Rasmussen @Meemoo >happy that Nintendo and PC picked up most of what Playstation lost.
Tell that to Senran Kagura fans
-
@ChristiJunior @Meemoo I'll never forgivee them for getting rid of megas. That's the only way shiny grngar looks any different :tantrum:
