@givenup @Leaflord @PeachySummer @dicey I do feel sad when pets die. I gotta say, if this was like some child's pet, it changes my answer completely. Especially if they have to watch. But if it's a random hamster it's less of a weird concern. I've waffle stomped mice before, and while I don't take pleasure in the idea, it had to be done (somebody in the house had cancer and was immunocompromised). At the end of the day, they're rodents. Hamsters are cute though.
