   my first fully professional writing job was a music critic, and when Radiohead's A Moon Shaped Pool came out, I was told I had to review it. I gave it a 3 out of 10 based on what I thought it would sound like, not listening to even a second of it. I had floods and floods of replies telling me how good and accurate a review it was and thanking me for being the dissenting voice, the one brave enough to say it. To this day I have never listened to the album

     @MercurialBuilding I said it was boring, overly morose, and insisted upon itself and the bands inexplicable gravitas far more than it did anything worth the reputation they have in some circles, in so many words, and that describes every radiohead album ever written except for 2 and a half of them.
