     Oh boy do I have news for you. Let me explain why it's named that. In the irrelevant sphere of left wing talk radio and similar (see Current TV as an example), they live under the mindset that everyone is trying to shut them down because Clear Channel/etc owns all the radio stations, and they would rather play boomer right wing shows like Rush (dead now but he made them angry), Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, and the like. The only way they can spout left wing establishment talking points dressed up in the boomer talk radio format is with a tiny sphere of influence. They live under the old school left wing version of free speech, where only they deserve it and feel they're being shut down by Clear Channel. Of course it's hilarious in comparison when you look at what's going on with Alex Jones being railroaded right this minute.
     
     Of course nowadays you can just listen to Dan Lebatard and it will sound just like Stephanie Miller or Randi Rhodes or Thom Hartmann or any of those other guys. Put it this way, he was too woke for ESPN even and talked politics instead of sports, and whined when he was told to talk more sports and less {talking point} of the day.

     @PhenomX6 yes. The left really still maintains in their brains that they are part of the rebellion. Makes ‘em feel good. It’s like “Rage Against The Machines” telling everyone to get vaccinated. Or all of corporate America standing up against systemic racism. Or all of the historically mostly white liberal school boards trying to be hero’s for the BIPOC kids that “others” forget.

     my favorite thing is watching urban freakouts or subway arguments and you get to see the white knight who is always some pasty white dude with an autism/estrogen sounding voice.
