     I had the same problem, though it mostly stopped in recent years. A few days ago, though, I had a nightmare about being in college, which hasn't happened in years. Back in the day it happened constantly, though. A common one was having a nightmare about having a test that day. Tons of stressful dreams. I think school fucks people up and is legitimately traumatic. Then again, so is society in general.

     School is just brainwashing and compliance training really.
     Maybe with the exception of math there's nothing useful you learn at school, and even math seems to be thrown out of the window soon as that's declared REEEEEECIST!! nowadays.

     The way math (or just about anything) is taught in school ruins the passion anyone has for it. It's better to just learn math by yourself by the endless resources out there and just consult a tutor when you really need help and can not figure it out at all.

     Yeah, I get that, I forgot things constantly. School haunts every moment of your life until you leave it. Horrible shit.
