     @Ace66062 @CleverMoniker yeah it annoys me because it seems likely that they're just not talking about a random dude as they specifically mentioned the basketball club
     
     Either way, even if it was, it would annoy me too as I would try to keep it as accurate to the line as possible, plus there was the next line that also says chad in the subs where you could then specify what you're saying

     @coolboymew @CleverMoniker You are correct. The problem is that modern "fan"subs (which are now almost always from crunchyroll, etc) are absolute garbage. The dialog could be a single word and they'll write an entire completely disgusting and absurd sentence. Sometimes the BD will have better subs.
