   You know how people in public transport, when there are two empty seats next to each other, deliberately take the one closest to the passage hoping you wouldn't dare to ask for passage so they can have a little bit of comfort? It's very satisfying to politely do just that and have them scramble to let you through, their selfish desires and unscrupulous plot derailed as they have to face the internal humiliation of yielding to a lesser being they see you as, unable to even vent as that would be socially unacceptable and lead to exposure of their true, base motive.
