Actually it SHOULD be difficult and stressful to drive a car in a city and if it's not then you're not taking your responsibility seriously enough

Arkadiusz Wieczorek (arek@mastodon.internet-czas-dzialac.pl)'s status on Friday, 27-Oct-2023 03:53:41 JST Arkadiusz Wieczorek @mbonsma I'm pretty confident and experienced on the street driving a car, but I recently drove around Sicily in a car and was totally stressed out not by pedestrians but by the behavior of other drivers...

Brian Reiter (breiter@hachyderm.io)'s status on Friday, 27-Oct-2023 04:17:49 JST Brian Reiter @mwt @mbonsma I had a driver HIT ME in a crosswalk when I had the “white man” crossing light last week in Washington, DC. And the yell at me for being in his way and drove off before I could make my way to the other sidewalk and call 911. Police took an hour to arrive and although I had a photograph of the license plate, claimed they could not track down the driver to do anything.
