Terry (terry@bae.st)'s status on Wednesday, 18-Jan-2023 06:01:16 JST Terry RT Arabic correspondent Sargon Hadaya came under fire while interviewing a Wagner fighter about capturing Soledar – a loud shot can be heard booming in the background.
‘This happens. These are random shots’, the fighter said. Adding, ‘There are no enemy copters or drones around... so targeted shooting is impossible. They're firing randomly in the direction of the city just to bother us’.

I heard one old salt describe them as a totally different breed from the US ones, where we have our guys spend their training in “an exercise program” while theirs are a “killing program”
Kinda shows in those funny meme things where they throw tomahawks and stuff, but it’s stuck with me in the years since.
