@roboneko @meowski @lnxw37b2 i'd say it's necessary if a bureaucracy exists, just like a bodyguard might be necessary in a violent neighborhood. the bodyguard might provide a service that 'should' be unnecessary, but in that situation it absolutely is, and there's nothing strange about him receiving compensation for it.

@meowski @lain @lnxw37b2 on the one hand, expertise navigating bureaucracy can be essential to getting things done. but it just feels so pointless
the idea that navigating inefficiencies could be a necessary sort of output just feels wrong somehow
