preparing MNT Reform Keyboard, typewriter edition with traditional stagger. there are still two unclaimed keycaps for QWERTY-US. probably one is compose/menu. spacebar is split in 3 and could be customized.

Paul (paul@mstdn.dk)'s status on Wednesday, 18-Jan-2023 17:29:02 JST Paul @mntmn Now that you sort of caved in and designed a "normal" keyboard, why not go the whole way and cut the HYPER key (it's not necessary/not standard/was never missed in the last 40 years by anyone), replace it with a caps lock (I'd miss it whenever I #define MY_MACROS) and put a second CTRL on the right side, to make life in emacs a little easier. There's probably gone a lot of thought in all these design decisions so I'm not hoping for any of these suggestions to be heard.
