   Here’s a guarantee that any software I develop, even software I sell will be DRM free. I personally think DRM is anti-user and I’d rather live with the inevitable instant sharing between friends that entails than endless whack-a-mole which just hurts paying users.

   Though if you are someone who are sharing paid software I make with friends at least let them know where they can buy their own copy, it makes sure I can keep making stuff!

     I also pledge to open source any software I make and distribute once I consider it EOL, to ensure that the software can be archived and be used in the future as technology changes.

     Besides, of course, the giant pile of projects of mine that are open source from the start ^^;
     They won’t be going anywhere and I’ll keep making them.

     @cmscy I feel open sourcing makes it easier for everyone including archivists. As such that is my preferred route.
