   @Ghislaine This is why we need internships in the schooling process, so kids get exposure to old timers in each industry. Trades sound cool when your 22 yo friend is pulling $14,000 a month doing concrete, they’re a lot less appetizing when you meet his 52 yo dad who sounds like he’s walking on a sack full of chicken bones every time he gets up from the chair.

   “ha ha I was doing concrete for 45 years, I got a bad back/neck/knee/hip/etc”

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @Ghislaine I've been welding a few years and I gotta say I'm a proud, manly, working class guy and you prissy LIBERALS would never understand!
     
     But boy does my right elbow hurt. Please ignore that I can no longer laugh without breaking into a coughing fit, despite my respirator.
