     @thatguyoverthere To be fair to the kid, even if he’s ever used one it was probably (based on the way he was trying to do it) one of the modern ones that you put flat on the top to save hedgehogs.

     I doubt I could use one of those key openers you get on tinned meat.

     @d0c40r0 I am thankful for the advancements in can opener technology, but I could work with this if I needed to.
     
     Most of my bulk food storage is dry goods. Beans, rice, wheat, etc. I think having to cook the beans for 8 hours might set them back even further.

     Actually I think that's the part that makes me chuckle the most. It doesn't work the way he expects but rather than re-evaluate he just kind of waves it around and hopes it's gonna find a way to work on it's own. it's hilarious lmao.

     @thatguyoverthere Charitably, it looks like he didn’t really study it to see which part did what. That’s why I wonder if he’s only ever seen the horizontal kind: he kept trying to put it on the lid.
