   #GlennBeck is said to be announcing some move by #TheBlaze tomorrow at 9 AM to fight #BigTech censorship. I suspect they may launch some sort of social media platform? Prolly won’t connect to the #Fediverse though.

     @coolboymew @realcaseyrollins I'm glad when they don't connect to the fediverse to be honest. Why should we have to deal with their crap? Especially when you know these people will be using our data and such without consent. I want to escape the corporate model, not have them follow me here and kill my fun.
     
     Aside from that, a decentralised internet of various websites sounds better than everything being centralised through one protocol like activitypub.

     @Moon @coolboymew Yep. I think on #PatGrayUnleashed they were doing this specifically to fight censorship and demonetization.

     @sim @coolboymew I would rather have them on the #Fediverse. Frankly, without the #Fediverse, whatever platform they build will wither and die. And if they post clips from their shows, I’d like to see them from here.

     Besides, what data can they get about me from there? It’ll just be another instance.
