You lost me at "stuck in small communities". I'll take rural Alaska over Chicago EVERY day. And if (when) shit hits the fan? Guess who will survive? People who know how to hunt, fish, forage, farm, can food, chop wood, haul water, etc? Or people with "expansive empathy"?
