Normies out there still not using password managers. :blobcatoutage:

@RustyCrab Just memorize all your passwords
Fucking shit

@krampus @Reluctant_Weeb @ceo_of_monoeye_dating @PurpCat @TheMadPirate if I were the feds I would simply make a site like this, collect everyone's passwords and use it to make a dictionary that I can just try on everyones devices when I get them.

>Tell us your passwords, for safekeeping.
Social darwinists must love this site.

@Reluctant_Weeb @TheMadPirate @PurpCat @RustyCrab @ceo_of_monoeye_dating there's not really much that can be done with it though, right? even if they now know that your super special never-before-seen password is now a password that's in use by at least one person, does it really put you at risk unless you give them other identifying info along with it?
-
@ceo_of_monoeye_dating @PurpCat @RustyCrab You think that page it's a honeypot ?

@Reluctant_Weeb @PurpCat @RustyCrab @TheMadPirate @ceo_of_monoeye_dating humn. Realistically, with just an IP and password, and no other identifying information, what could someone do? How would they go about it? Asking out of genuine curiosity, since I'm definitely not an expert in this stuff.

@krampus @PurpCat @RustyCrab @TheMadPirate @ceo_of_monoeye_dating
Neither am I, I can't give you specific answere. To me this is just a shit test. Can you keep the most basic of opsec while under no pressure to do so? Giving out passwords to strangers inexcusably stupid. If I ran a company and I found out someone did this with a company password I would fire them on the spot. Even worse if they recognized the risk and reasoned themselves to ignoring common sense, like if they said 'surely nothing can go wrong if they just have my password.'

@krampus @PurpCat @RustyCrab @TheMadPirate @ceo_of_monoeye_dating
Identifying information like perhaps your IP? There is a sensible version of this site that asks for your email, and will even email you if it shows up on updated lists. Giving out your password is just plain pants-on-head retarded.

@Reluctant_Weeb @PurpCat @RustyCrab @TheMadPirate @ceo_of_monoeye_dating The reason I'm so dubious of the risk is that I've had a networking instructor in uni show off this exact site to us as a useful resource. Either this guy who otherwise came off as very competent was retarded in this one specific area, or it's genuinely not that big of a deal
