Are there any third party Signal clients for Linux? The official one seems to be Electron, and I'd of course prefer a Qt native one.

Debacle (debacle@framapiaf.org)'s status on Friday, 20-Oct-2023 18:02:44 JST Debacle For the fun of it, you could install your own #Jabber server, e.g. #snikket by @snikket_im and the #slidge gateway by @nicoco. It's a whole set of #XMPP transports, not only for Signal, but also for Whatsapp, Telegram, Discord, Mattermost, Steam, Skype, Facebook Messenger, and Matrix.
Then you could use a native Jabber client, e.g. #Dino by @dino, #Gajim by @gajim or #Kaidan by @kaidan.

Chewie (chewie@mammut.gogreenit.net)'s status on Friday, 20-Oct-2023 18:02:56 JST Chewie There's a cli one called gurk (https://github.com/boxdot/gurk-rs), but 0.3.0 was a bit buggy, and I can't compile the latest one as my libraries are too old :(
Not found anything else decent, so I've given up for now.
#XMPP for the win anyhow 😜
Gajim repeated this.
