     @GrungeQueef @thomasroiloup I mean it's been around way longer than that. It's basically Catholic dogma. And I do think it can have some benefits for autists in terms of being more confident and outgoing, but it definitely doesn't cure everything.

     I will say that the biggest problem is how messed up the dating/marriage market is, because if you go nofap and get more energized to go out and find a girl but can't find a decent one you just get frustrated and depressed. In a somewhat healthy society nofap would be good for helping socially awkward dudes sort themselves out, but in a society that doesn't reward and frequently punishes people for trying to do the right thing it's important to be aware of how it can backfire. Porn isn't good but a lot of porn addictions are effects of deeper social problems as opposed to causes.
