It doesn't need as much knowledge as people think, you can use managed hosting companies which do all the techy stuff.

You do need to pay for the hosting though (starting at about 30e a month), so it might be better suited to collectives or labels where the cost is spread?

If it is possible, it would be nice to see the infrastructure for music in the hands of the artists and other smaller players, rather than leaving them at the mercy of large corporations.
