I've been talking to someone of that generation, and they just simply don't believe that Israel does bad things, and assumes all the bad happenings are because of the terrorists Hamas because that's what news says. Like I sent the video footage of the civilian convoy that got bombed while they were trying to flee Northern Gaza on Friday, and it was like "So did Hamas bomb them? Why?"

     @grey @scalar @Rwoeidk @rher My fave boomer thing, out of all the infuriating ones, is an uncle who says the holocaust definitely happened as presented because “you think the democrats wouldn’t do the same to US?!?!“
