   Honest question -- what do you expect to be posted on here?

   This is supposed to be for producers? Are we supposed to contribute show research here? Help you and John do show prep?

   We can build a community here "for protection" as long as we don't have fun and be lighthearted with one another?

     2. Is it too much to ask for an explanation of what the expectations of the instance is?

     I guess if I were a *true* NA fan, I'd be in on the groupthink.

     @adam you might get more behavior you want if you express what you actually expect instead of just trashing people who evangelize your program, send you their money and then post funny pictures to try to make each other laugh because the world is fucking depressing.

     Clearly the people who have joined this platform are fans of you and John. The slots are limited, we understand that we're going to be isolated from the rest of mastodon when we sign up -- yet we still join.

     You've amassed quite the diversity of thought here. It's quite remarkable.

     But, even assuming the worst, and you view your followers with contempt -- belittling the people who like you for doing something you don't like -- and then expecting them to send you money seems, at best, unwise.

     Everyone here likes the show. Pretty sure most like you, but listening to you on the show shit on those of us trying to have a good time on a "social network" feels bad.

     @adam And the completely "tone deaf" part of the whole thing -- the very people who listen to your show have demonstrated that they don't respond well to arbitrary orders.

     How many people have dug their heels in, risking employment and social isolation because they didn't want to follow lockdown orders or "vaccine" mandates.

     But they're going to honor an authoritarian demand to stop posting funny pictures -- "just because"?

     What do you expect us to post?
