     @bleedingphoenix @TornadoOfTerror I've heard the manga is much less serious than the anime, I'll probably get started on season 1 of it soon, wonder how different it'll be

     @poopernova @TornadoOfTerror the anime buys into the chuuni, whereas the manga gets into Cid's head for lots of comedy. both are good, just each leans slightly one way. the anime also has entire scenes that are completely original, it's been fun seeing what flair the anime added that the manga didn't.
