     Maybe there *should* be an AI/prompt engineer qualification.
     
     but I have yet to see any universities offering 'prompt engineer' degrees and certainly no prompt engineers being responsible as real engineers are to real engineering projects.
     
     If a bridge falls apart after a regular engineer signs off on it, and people die, there's real consequences. That's the difference between a real engineer and a fake one like these guys.

     it's way wayy too early to have certifications for this, the tech is changing too fast. part of being good at this is riding that wave.

     @GaryPaulWood I've been working now a couple months and there's something to "prompt engineer", you really can get good at doing it, a lot better than a regular person just messing around.

     But it still will be insane... And want to make you like "it".
     
     Because IT is "human"... And you "humans" aren't being like it.

     And if you cut away all the bullshit, most "morality" and "ethics" comes from keeping the body alive and the genes within it, directly or indirectly through offspring.
     
     A freaking program will not have that or cannot have that without being able to have a sense of personal survival instinct and/or the desire to replicate itself.
     
     And if you give it either of those, you will not get a "moral and ethical" AI... You get a direct competitor.
