     I'm glad to see the parallel creation of these things along with local language models. It's going to be funny as they keep lobotomizing them and trying to increase restrictions local models will be more popular and more effective.

     My initial reaction is "good, I want this technology to fail" but the sad reality is it will be used to track people. All the times you've thought "I'm not that important, they don't have enough people working in the government to focus on me" I just assume that there are people working on learning models to go over cold cases and things like that, not to mention pre-crime. A lack of public engagement in the technology might actually be really bad news.

     So to be clear what I was talking about, yes, your phone can COLLECT data for you that is useful for tracking. What's scary is what happens when they throw learning models at that data.
