   I find it odd that so many people expect everyone to have an opinion of geopolitical nonsense halfway around the world. Your opinion is not well informed so why be so committed? Just weird

     @Captain_Wet_Beard yeah I get people who are personally affected having a more formed opinion, but I think too many people just want to be accepted by their preferred ingroup and so they adopt the opinions of the group. I have no group I want to belong to, and other than these wars escalating to a level that impacts people I care about I don't have a reason to be more informed. It seems to me that usa not funding foreign nations would do a lot in lessening the impact of war generally.

     @thatguyoverthere There's a lot of pressure to be an activist, escapism has almost entirely disapeared and everything is poisoned with politics. Genuine art is almost dead, nearly everything is political bs. Thats the main driving force imo.
     
     Personally I've cared about the last two war happenings, but I've got a lot of baggage personally in regard to the regions involved in both instances, so I have a well thought out position in regard to each. I generally don't care about stuff I'm not personally invested in.

     I got a call once from political canvassing group in Ireland, the dude gave me some options and asked me if it I'd go with A or B. I said I can't with the information provided. He said "I had to" pick one. I loled and said stfu and hungup
