     The average temperature in the first ten days of October, here in the Netherlands, was the same as the average for July + August in the 20th century: 16.6⁰C!

     These days this year were around 4.5⁰C warmer than the already warmed 1991-2020 average for this period, and around 5.5⁰C warmer than its 20th century average.

     After a very warm September, here in the Netherlands, we had an extremely warm first ten days of October: 1.6⁰C warmer than ever recorded before (1901-2022)!
