   Whats peoples thoughts on noninvasive advertising? Typically id be highly against adverts but simple ones that dont collect data like 4chan gif/jpg adverts I personally find a happy medium between monetization and lack of bloat.

     @ev I mean that datas not really hard to collect there. You don't even need bots (als i think that female number may be inflated due to larps/people of gender). I know hirouki isnt the most trustworthy guy but again the idea of using simple gifs/jpegs to me is still really inoffensive in my opinion

     I think I get what you are saying, 4chan ads despite being simplistic in appearence still rely on Javascript. I didn't really think that was the case but Ill have to try and load it on gnu icecat to see if it blocks them out. Perhaps that wasn't the best example but I think both you and me agree on the idea, nevertheless, that a simple jpeg/gif ad isn't invasive so long as it doesn't use js
