     @lelouchebag is that what it's called lmao? But yeah, I know that exists. Especially since you can scan cards and get them so it's easy to dupe the dummies. What's even more hilarious is that there's easy ways to do this without needing a physical card and people were able to do this with still yet unreleased cards by trying out new combinations

     Loads of people are blaming women or something for the series being neutered because the villagers are a lot less mean and seems to have completely gotten rid of some hidden friendship mechanism

     @coolboymew I went back to play the gamecube one and was surprised how like half the villagers are straight up hostile to you at first until you befriend them. I guess it adds some "depth" to it since you befriend them and watch them develop. In new leaf it's all the same dialog whether it's the first day they move in or it's been years of friendship

     @lelouchebag yeah exactly, after Wild World they fucked that up big time. The Wii one already removed the friendship portrait (why) and it started getting super casualized. Why even speak to the villagers at all?
