@admin I think that's playing with fire, because suffering that many losses makes you look weak and vulnerable, which is suicidal for Israel. If he chose to ignore intel about something being planned I think he gravely miscalculated and underestimated what would happen. Even if it reunites the government, if it emboldens the muzzies everything immediately becomes dicier. I don't think it's a coincidence that stuff like this and the Russia-Ukraine War are popping up in the wake of the faggification of the US military. American military power isn't feared like it once was, and Israel getting a black eye like this risks a similar effect.
@ArdainianRight I’m still not entirely convinced that this whole Hamas episode wasn’t a false flag on the part of the Netanyahu regime to re-establish domination over the Israeli government. He was getting color-revolutioned just a couple months ago and now he has the full support of the entire country. Cui bono?
@ArdainianRight This is why we need to unite the world under a single democratic government. One that protects human rights and democracy around the world. Join the Young World Federalist today.
@ArdainianRight@admin there's a lot of reasoning about this that assumes that decision-makers are smart have careful plans, which is a very strange thing to assume in the current year. For me Hamas's attack being suicidal on its face doesn't imply that they definitely have backing from other powers. For me this turning into a huge negative for Israel doesn't mean they didn't let it happen. It's not only the west that has distracted leaders always high on their own farts.
@apropos@admin Mossad getting lazy and dismissing intel about Hamas is also possible. I don't see why Israel would be immune to the deterioration of culture and competence we're witnessing in America.
