Why I always say "Injun" instead of "Indian" or "Native American": I usually embrace politically incorrect/offensive language, but I also value clarity and accuracy in terms of the words I choose. "Indian" doesn't clear that bar, since it can easily cause confusion between Alcoholics and Streetshitters. Meanwhile, "Native American" is just straight up Fagspeak as far as I'm concerned. "Injun" gets it clearly across which group I'm referring to, is at the very least vaguely offensive, and is just a fun word to say. You could argue that I should just go with "Redskin", but I dunno, that just sounds kinda goofy to me, and gives the Injuns too much credit - they're more shitskins than redskins, really :shrug4:
