Cuck "representatives" in the state of Maryland, namely king cuck Jeff Waldstreicher (a Berkeley CA graduate living in Montgomery County MD), passed SB1 2023 which outlawed open carry of handguns by permit holders (which is unconstitutional and illegal, as well as permitting which is unconstitutional).
MD criminal law Title 4 Subtitle 1 Section 4-101(c)(1) states:
"A person may not wear or carry a dangerous weapon of any kind concealed on or about the person".

However, I know my actions to be lawful and will not tolerate unlawful detainment and/or siezure by those acting under the color of law, and will take appropriate action to derive recourse from any illegal action taken against me.
I anxiously await the results of Novotny v Moore, Kipke v Moore, and future lawsuits that challenge illegal MD statutes.
Fuck ego-tripping pigs.

I have absolutely no desire to kill anyone in self-defense if at all possible and would much rather temporarily debilitate, as circumstance and training allow, and openly carry such a device in cross-draw when in public in Maryland.
For reference to those who are unaware, OC spray is only viable to ~12ft. An OC launcher is viable to ~40ft.
I'm aware of Teuller (21ft) and would of course draw a firearm at that close range if threatened with lethal force of grievous bodily injury.

If I am illegally detained and/or arrested for what is lawful conduct (even by clown-world Constitution of No Authority standards), I will post video of any and all unlawful detainments from personal and FOIA'd recordings.
Given that I live far from Baltimore and DC, I don't anticipate being hemmed up for what is lawful action by an unlawful seizure by county or state police.

Based on this (unconstitutional) statute, a person may openly carry what *could* be considered a "dangerous weapon" (which is poorly defined by statute) as long as it is not carried with the intent to injure an individual in an unlawful manner.
QED, it is legal to openly carry a CO2 less-lethal projectile/OC launcher (such as a Byrna or T4E) and in fact illegal to concealed carry such a device unless one meets the exceptions defined by statute.

@mcread Fortunately (or unfortunately) I have family nearby and would prefer to assert my natural rights near to where I was born, as opposed to traveling great distances to secure what are presumably my natural born rights.
In fact, the very supposition that I should move to another state in order to secure my natural born rights is proof of how fucked America :tm: is.

@mcread Honestly things aren't much better in VA or WV, which are the only viable options to relocate in my circumstance.
The largest problem we/I face is the Constitution of No Authority, not edicts by any particular state.
If a state in my vicinity seceded from the Federal government and rebuked their (lack of) authority, my position would change. But unless/until that happens, MD is as good a place to be as any.

Also, things are so fucked right now that I feel compelled to wear a gopro or body cam every time I leave my house and exercise my rights, as not to fall victim to false claims by pigs.
Cameras are the impartial witness that never lie.
It's sad that I feel I have to strap on a camera every time I'm strapped, so to speak, but that's the society we live in.
I hope for a future where my children don't have to put up with this level of bullshit in America, but I know that is a pipe-dream.
