     @icedquinn @cjd @realcaseyrollins Things have changed in the last few years, UAE, Qatar, Saudis are now very friendly with each other again, and they also now have normal relations with Israel. The first jewish marriage in the UAE happened last year. Even Iran has been warming up. Things are probably different in places like Jordan or Egypt, though. Apparently, an egyptian policeman just shot 2 Israelis and their tour guide yesterday.

     @cjd @realcaseyrollins i'm not well read on the middle east, but i suspect whatever opinions other countries may have don't mean much when international hegemons write endless blank cheques to one specific nation state.

     @cjd @icedquinn @realcaseyrollins and that after trump brought peace to the middle east with the abraham accords... (they built a heccin synagogue and church in abu dhabi: https://www.abrahamicfamilyhouse.ae/) it's so sad to see this, but I'm hopeful that the middle east isn't too interested in being american vassals anymore.
