Y'all, I went looking for a list of official Mastodon instances and all I found was something on GitLab that has about 15 listings and was last updated in December.
There have got to be more than that. (cracks knuckles)

There is an official list of servers at https://joinmastodon.org/servers
I run an easy-to-use list at https://fedi.garden
Both lists require servers to adhere to certain requirements before being on the list.
Ahhh... well, there are loads of those but you generally can't join them. They're usually used for existing orgs to broadcast their news and answer questions etc.
For example @EU_Commission is on the European Union's official server.
Is there some specific reason for finding them?
@feditips Yes, but that is not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for services that are official representatives of existing orgs.
