   Why do these exist?
   
   I mean besides "because they can be made". And people are buying them.

     @piggo maybe the same, you have some built in cables and connectors in your wall and this just serves to loop the signal through

     @lain im thinking really hard to find a situation when this makes sense for anything that normally goes through RJ-45 or BNC
