     All of these should work. I have a user script somewhere that will actively rewrite urls for you but it's on a drive I don't have connected at the moment.

     @feld the piped one doesn't work. I prefer invidious because you can jump to other instances pretty easily and some will let you download the video.

     I like getting the video file so I can save it or easily send it over another messaging platform without relying on some webserver

     @feld used to be you could download from just about any invidious instance. These days a lot of them have it disabled or are hitting throttling limits or limit it to logged in users.
     
     I don't use telegram, but I wonder how hard it would be to build a similar bot for matrix :thinking:
