I'm humoring my dad by watching Ashoka with him and I have to say that if I ever get my hands on Joss Whedon I am going to strangle that shitlib faggot until his eyes pop out for permanently destroying dialogue as an art form for all of time. If I have to hear one more God Damned quippy female character I'll pop a blood vessel.
Oh and I keep repeatedly thinking about the Ashoka Tano copypasta. 4chan has ruined me.

@Shadowman311 It’s jarring watching a film from the 80s or 90s and hearing characters talk like actual adults instead of bratty 16 year old girls

@Shadowman311 what's really fucking sad is when whedon nuthuggers try to emulate that style of speech in real life but for most of them it just leads to them being painfully unfunny and sounding like a tryhard dumbshit.
"woa look at me i'm so quick witted and quirky and funny" no you're just a dumbass aping a fake person you saw on tv who trained you to talk like a retard on purpose as a joke because you have no personality.

@flux_the_cat @Shadowman311 Now that's the power of math, people.

@moomin @Shadowman311
Classic Hero's Journey storytelling is the real core of Star Wars' appeal. That and laser swords and guns.

@Shadowman311 its not bad visually as long as you set the color saturation on your tv way up so all the niggers look like actual aliens. truth is star wars was always kinda faggy. what people won't admit is that the star wars nostalgia is really just reminiscing about being with other White people without nigger fatigue and not at all about the movie. sure space scifi is interesting, but its just an attribute. the real thing is the White belonging that everyone is nostalgic about.

@ArdainianRight @moomin @Shadowman311 Also, a fully realzed and lived-in sci fi world where super-advanced spaceships capable of faster-than-light speeds can be referred to as pieces of junks and rustbuckets.

@ChristiJunior @Shadowman311 @moomin Nobody ever really gave a shit about the politics, it was always just the lovable underdog good guys versus cool-looking bad guys. That's why people complained about the prequels' politics, even though they inadvertently showed that galactic democracy is a retarded and unworkable scheme and the only solution to provide law and order was a centralized fascist empire.

@ArdainianRight @Shadowman311 @moomin I actually thought everything related to Palpatine's rise was great, when taken as a whole, only Episode III tried to inject then-Current Year politics where it didn't belong (resulting in Anakin quoting Dubya and causing Obi-Wan to reply that only Siths deal in absolutes, before shortly afterwards dealing in absolutes himself).
